“Change” Animated Music Video
This was a music video we shot just before the 2008 presidential elections for a music artist named “Wize” who’s goal was intended to not only encourage young people to vote, but to challenge Obama’s slogan for “Change”. In other words, Wize’s message was simple – if you want change, be prepared to deal with the good and the bad that comes along with that change. He also challenged the young voters to pay attention to the overall message behind Obama’s “change” and not just vote based on popularity.
We filmed this in two locations using green screen and a good amount of lighting. Total production took about 12 hours of filming and 2 weeks of animation and post production. I’ve noticed that once uploading the video to YouTube his mouth got knocked out of synch with the lyrics of the song – blame YouTube, because it’s fine on the actual video that was used for his artist promotional package which also went out to various record companies.
